hey guys, first post :D
last few days been reading up on robotrippin and decided to get my self a bottle to see for myself lol.. now before i go drinking the whole thing if i dont need to, how much would you guys recommend? i want to have a decent trip. and if im stoned does that make a difference? (haha)

i would say anywhere between 200mg-300mg the third plateu is a good harm reduction site on dxm or use the search function

I've only used the capsules and I took 300 mg's worth of dxm. If you have used other psychedelics or disassociatives i think the 260- 300 range is good. If not maybe 200- 240 mgs is good. 300mg was a sweet spot. I was a little caught off guard for how long it took to kick in. It had minor effects within an hour but didn't really kick in til close to 2 hours.

I did not smoke pot so i couldn't tell you if it would make a difference. It's definitely not necessary to smoke pot, but I had some mild nausea, it's not that unpleasant or unbearable, but some weed may help. I guess maybe try the Dxm see how you like it and then have the weed on hand. For me it was about an 8 hour trip.

I don't know all the different plateaus but it's a pretty strange trip. I was on an airplane when i took it and then had to take a trolley home. At that dose I was able to function in reality the whole time but when I got home and lied down when it got dark i went to some pretty strange places.

I listened to completely different music on Dxm then i normally do while tripping. My favorite DxM song is "A Break in the Clouds-James Holden"

Finally I recommend not having much to do the following day, I feel more brain fried then from Acid or E, although probably not as lethargic as E.
