Robitussin Addict

Is there anyone out there who was/is addicted to drinking Robitussin, Nyquil, or any other over-the counter drug that contained as an active ingrediant DXM (dextromethorphan)? If so, have you/have you not gotten over this addiction? If you have, how did you? I'm a senior in highschool and I'm doing a paper this semester on alternative drugs, everything will be anonymous of course. Thanks so much for all of your help!

Back about 2-3 years ago, i had just gotten pure dxm from a chem supplier, and i think i maybe was addicted to it for a while. i was actually doing it alot, it was more than just the weekends, it was maybe 5 times a week.
but i think with dxm the high actually seems to change the more u do it, the more pleasent effects seem to fade and the crappy effects become more appearent. i no longer felt good i felt dull and void when high, i couldnt feel myself i basically felt like total shit when high on dxm.
it has been more than a year since ive even thought about that crap. i find it crappy drug now and i dont think id touch it if i had no other drug to do for the rest of my life... when i think about it and as i post this my stomach curls. ick!! i ended up even giving away all my dxm powder to my lil cousin kuz he loved the shit...

i was "addicted" for a short period of time in highschool.. as were a few friends. we did it lots, multiple times a week, all independantly of eachother. we all quit suddenly, not because it got old, just because mearly looking at the shit made us physically ill. so bam, we all just quit doing it and have had a sort of loathing towards it. doing it so much made me feel fucked up like i had brain damage.. after a month or two of staying away from it, we all went back to normal. it seems common for users to become ill even LOOKING at the shit, ive heard reports of people vomiting in store isles when seeing the "RoboMAX" bottle.

Im with that guy. Honeslty, my biggest suggestion is dont be such a bitch and dont use it. Its not like its fucking coke for yay's sake...

while never 'addicted', i can say i've indulged in the purple bottle a bit too much in the past :D
while working on this project and other's like it over a few days i drank many bottles.....at one point i was seeing in vector lines and the skin itches translated to the little bezier colored dots.....it was an odd experience in my brain.....but i digress.....
....everytime i drink a bottle or two i'm like, 'what the fuck....how i can i be this extremely fucked on something i bought at fucking walmart?'
