Hi is Robert 325 still around for consultation. I heard hes the best for sub induction. I'm getting off methadone and onto suboxone. I am in 110mg methadone and go good for a while then get super depressed cuz I'm stuck on this crap. And I know suboxone is door of hope to get off everything. I need a mentor like Robert 325. I will be taking a short acting opiate for a month then switching to suboxone. I want to do it right the first Time and not get in over my head taking too much sub. I heard Robert can have you off subs in 60 days. I would like to switch to short acting opiated without any withdrawal of that's possible and also ween off subs without withdrawal . Is it possible? I have a good job and can't lose it .
Any info would be great if you know how I can reach Robert 325 or any of his students are here. Thanks

you're looking in the wrong place lol. Robert 325 is on drugs.com in the Suboxone forum. I don't think he's there anymore.

You should stick around anyway tho :) Bluelight has been valuable for me and a lot of other people, and there's still a ton of valuable information to be found here. other forums in Bluelight can be like a warzone, but the Sober Living forum is seriously the most non-judgemental, cohesive, supportive place I have ever found on the internet. I can honestly say that I have never seen one fight break out in this forum. the people here have their different viewpoints, but no one forces their beliefs onto each other. it's just a big ol' ball of fluffiness and it's awesome. seriously. I used to moderate two other forums on this site, and the whole experience left me jaded as fuck. when they added this forum a few years later I was hesitant, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It renewed my faith in both this site and the internet as a whole. it's living proof that people from all walks of life with different points of view can come together and work towards a common purpose while wholeheartedly supporting each other.

I'm not great with coming up with tapering schedules, so I won't offer any advice there. but I'm sure someone else will come along soon who can help you!! good luck <3

Yeah he never posted on here, that brings back memories though.

The best taper plan is the one from your doctor.

Here is Robert325 plan in a nutshell. Get stabilized on lowest dose possible. Then after a 4-7 days start a taper. Taper 25% of your stabilized dose every 4 days. When you get to .25mg stay there for about 4 days and then skip a day and dose then skip 2 days and dose then skip 3 days and dose then stop. Robert acted like he invented this plan and was some guru, he knew everything - user was musician guess what so was Robert, Insurance man, so was Robert, Wall Street, so was Robert, Drugs? no one did more than Robert. He was full of himself and as far as I know been long gone for years. He used to write a disclaimer after each of his posts that he was not a Doctor and believed that somehow made him lawsuit proof from his advice.

LOL that makes me laugh. I am not trying to discredit anyone or their ideas but I was never one to think seeking a single persons advise was ever wise, it is best to get a large pool of information and draw your own conclusions. And I looked up his name and the first post i saw by him was generic advise that anyone could give. I think if you stick around here and actually listen to a verify of people youll do fine. No one can "get you off subs in 60 days" other then you, if you are at that place in life. I am sorry but that phase reminds me of the BS "lost 30 pounds in 30 days!" crap.

Standard advise to anyone starting subs is to start low and see where you need to be. Most people will find 2mg will help them way more then they thought. If you decrease your dose I would wait 5-7 days until you lower it again for your body to adjust. Also there should be no true all or nothing time frame on getting clean, you are trying to improve your life, not get an oil change.

What you need to do is think realistically about your treatment. If you are at 110mg of methadone i do not think you will be able to get off in 60 days. I also think you need to lower your methadone dose before you even consider getting on subs as you are going to need to go cold turkey for days before you can induct just because suboxone is going to rip that methadone off and replace it with lower activity on your receptors ie instant withdrawal the likes of which you have never seen.

Why is it like this for you? Why can you not continue on your methadone or lower that? It is not advisable to switch meds when you are on that that high of a dose.

Everyone wants a free pass out of withdrawal. Most of the methods I see people talking about are bullshit though. There is no way to go from 110mg methadone to a short acting opiopd then to subs in 60 days without going through some hell at some point in time. It just doesn't work like that.

This.

I take issue with Drugs.com for many reasons, mainly because it seems to be rife with middle aged housewives from the bible belt who think they are something special because they were addicted to pills instead of Heroin, and there seems to be a lot of catty fights and judgement being doled out, but that's another rant.

From what I gathered ol' Robert was just some guy with too much time on his hands preachin' to vulnerable people a pretty common sense and commonly used approach to tapering. THAT BEING SAID, you should totally stick around here because I have found the sober living and dark side forums to be super supportive, and non judgemental. You may find a better mentor around here.

Good luck on your detox.

I loved reading this!

OP, once you're off the methadone and you're ready to start on subs, I'd consider doing a "rapid taper". It doesn't work for some people (some need maintenance forever or they'll use dope again) but if you're really ready to quit for good, a rapid taper will do it for you without getting you habituated to buprenorphine (which will present you with a new conundrum once you want to taper it to zero if you've been using it for months).

If you need help with a rapid taper, there is plenty of info here, plenty of BL'ers that have knowledge and can help, and you can feel free to PM me as well. I'm on day 7 of my rapid detox and feel like a champ.

No need to talk shit about Robert, whatever you have to say about him his plan does work if you really stick to it, and he has helped countless people... The main point being the max dose you need is usually way smaller than what doctors prescribe...i was snorting about 150mg oxy daily years ago and I stabilized just fine on 2mg... Just Google Roberts pan and do it, but make sure you are really in withdrawals before you take your fist dose or you will be in a world of shit

This robert guy sounds like a hell of a fellow. Or not. There is no hard and true guide to detox as we are all different, we all have different life circumstances. We all have different mental diagnosis'. The only thing that I can suggest is going to a doctor and being straight up. Say what your on, say you want to stop, and stick to his plan.

It has been said that you are going to be uncomfortable. Yeah this is so true. That is part of recovery...being able to handle being uncomfortable.
