WELL...it all started this sunday afternoon...I had rolled hard on sat night on 1 and 1/2 pill, regular roll, great as its always been :)
Then, nothing to do, nowhere to go, I had one rivotril 2mg laying around from a friend whos prescribed recently due to panic attacks...I had already taken it twice before, only half pills, and kinda liked it ... not too strong, takes away your worries, great with weed...well you know benzos better than me....
Then I took that pill and chew it... and went to my freeze and grab a beer...hmmm delicious beer, just browsing some websites and in like 15 minutes it starts kicking in....unexplainable happiness, ecstasy like but weaker of course, very energic....then I go grab my 2nd beer....then my 3rd...then my 4th - when I realize there arent any left...at this point I my stereo is pumping the whole house and Im dancing like crazy, feeling great....decided to call my friend (the one with the pills) and told him whats going on, and said I was going to stop by....I dont remember but I got there ok, I still was counscious(sp?) (and still very happy). When I got there, all euphoric, asked him one more pill, which he handed me...AH, on the way to his place I stopped and bought 5 more beers...I offered him and he said he wasnt feeling like drinking so I ended up drinking all 5 - while chatting and watching TV...he said I looked ok, as much as a drunk person should be anyway..
Then, from the point below, all Im writing is by what he told me, which I REMEMBER NOTHING !!! AT ALL !! I couldnt drive obviously and we decided we wanted some weed, I handed him my car and we were after it... on the street I shouted to lots of people, asked for weed on the street hookers, when we finally got the weed (here in Brazil its that easy to get weed), I begged him to drive which he let me (dont know why) but then I started running like crazy almost killed ourselves, until finally we met a police car, starts following us and I wouldnt stop...with all the lights and stuff....then when my friend finally had me stop cars, we had police officers pointing guns all over us - they just couldnt believe how could I be driving! then after the complete routine, search (the weed was well hid so they found nothing), trying to follow a line (which you can imagine what was the result), and after much talking my friend got him to release us with no charges (he told them I was on meds, for my supposed depression and some other BS), only that he would be the one driving....when we got to his place I took a hit of weed, instantly puked all over his place and went into a coma-state that I was only gonna wake up in the next morning, as I said REMEMBERING NOTHING THAT HAPPENED.
I now feel like shit. Its been 2 days now and Im still weird. I only feel like sleeping. Im tired all day. Guess it should go away in a couple days...For sure Im never touching that shit again, and Im not rolling for at least 2 weeks...
PEOPLE DONT DO IT, DONT DRINK ON BENZOS !! YOU WILL BLACK OUT !! DONT PLAY WITH IT.
this is my advice...i wouldnt want this to my worst enemy. peace!

Thank you for sharing that experience with us. Good advice, this a well known bad combo and heres the proof. Kids, don't try this at home :) (Or driving!)

I won't take benzos without alcohol. Of course, dosage is crucial. I'll black out on a high dosage of benzos regardless of alcohol. I just don't think it's a "bad combo" at all.. just one that requires caution, as mixing any depressants do.

clonazepam + alcohol is just fine (euphoric for sure) as long as you keep your sense of behaving responsibly.. i do it almost everyday and face no problems.. even my parents dont notice that im rollin.. imo you shouldnt blame it on CM and alcohol. maybe benzos are not suitable for your physiology or psychological structure..

its all about who you are and what you want out of life. Some of my best friends dont start a night of drinking without 4mg klonopin.

alcohol + benzos is obviously a bad idea. but, as many people said, it is a fun combination.

the thing to remember is that you have to know your limits if you're entertaining the idea. you need to be very familiar with the benzo your using (without alcohol).. and you need to make sure you keep alcohol consumption to a much much lesser degree than normal.

and remember any time you do it could be your last time, because you never know what "you" will think is a good idea when you're blacked out-

and the double visioned, blurry remainder of your stash can start to look really appealing.

just don't do anything that requires a good combination of motor skills and concentration.. such as driving

A pointless night though, with the potential for blacking out and being completely out of control. Not to mention the harm to the body and mind...

Is it necessarily bad that this would be a typical saturday night scenario for the 18-25y.o demopgraphic where I live. Lol.

But yeah, I've done both valium and temazepam with alcohol and in general they're ok. Only time I went wrong was 4 temazepam and about 8 beers.... things in my room had moved around, dialled numbers on the phone etc. No recollection of like 30 minute (seemingly normal) phone calls to friends.

Peace:)

although clonazepam is a better anxiolytic than alprazolam (imo), using clonazepam combined w/alcohol for recreational purposes is not a very good idea (ime).. try alprazolam (xanax) w/alcohol. that feels much better ;)

I remember taking clonazepam (my favorite benzo ) right after a long day of boozing (scotch, vodka, bourbon) plus others.....man I was SICK to my stomach for a couple hours (and stuck in a casino with my friends!) and I swore to never, ever mix benzos & copious amounts of alcohol ever again.

the bad thing about benzos and alcohol combo is you're not really aware of what you're doing while you're on them, and don't remember anything about what you've done while you were on them..

Hmm the good thing about the benzo and alcohol combo is...

by the way wtf do you know about how someone can suffer from insomnia and nightmares? SSRIs makes you sleepy but nightmares are unbearable. clonazepam + alcohol combo knocks you off nice and easy.. at least you get a proper sleep...
