Ritilan Suspension

Since Ritalin can be hard on the nose, can one use a Ritalin thick suspension with nasal saline solution?

you mean like dissolving ritalin on water and then putting that up the nose?

well technically it should work.

i did it last week. i dissolved 40mgs of ritalin in a few mls of water, filtered with cotton, and put the solution in my nostrils with an eye dropper. i felt a bit of it.

i bet it's effective, at the time i did it i have a tolerance (was snorting up to 60mgs every day last week) to ritalin so even 40mgs snorted would do little.

Works well with ethylphenidate if that's any indication. Of course Ritalin's fillers means more work is required to obtain a suspension.

Depending on who you ask, Ritalin is not very soluble in water. I was talking of using an unfiltered suspension of Ritalin dissolved in a few ml of saline nasal solution. Sorry if I did not post it clearer.

Most of IR Ritalin and generic versions have fillers that are not water-soluble so they should fall to the bottom if you let the solution rest overnight. Should work ok after that.
