Concerta + Xanax + Codeine - First Combo - Why does depression have to follow Xanax?

Substance: Concerta 54 mg? (red pill) chewed, Xanax 4 xanys (.25 mg Alprozolam each) parachuted, Codeine: 4 325mg tablets parachuted
Weight: 155 pounds
Backround: No immunity to any of these substances although I’v tried them all before at previous times.
3:40 PM- I chewed up the Concerta…It wasn’t really that bad if you wash it down immediately. In about 5 minutes I felt a nice little buzz and wanted to get things done. I then began the process of crushing up the Xanax to parachute.
4:15 PM- I swallowed the parachute and began crushing the codeine now.
4:25 PM- Swallowed codeine parachute and for the next 5 minutes my euphoria increases a lot. Kind of feels like the onset of some vics except with a couple of other strange feautures: I’m hyper and I wanna get things done but at the same time im heavy and chilled… its very strange. Im also irritable but Im lovin this high.
4:50 PM- For some reason I got cottonmouth but a stick of gum cured that.
5:20 PM- AWSOME! Iv been listenin to trance and playin Bomberman for the SNES and iv got some really good euphoria. I see trails when I wave my hand around and my vision is very strange..hard to describe: everything looks very clear yet it takes me awhile to focus on things.
5:50 PM- Started feeling depressed and angry which is quite a change from 30 minutes ago. Im guessing this had to do with the Xanax since I have become depressed on Xanax before while mixing it with other things such as alcohol. (Never came close to becoming depressed on Codeine or Concerta before). The depression and anger eventually faded but I wasn’t exactly happy for the rest of the night. I don’t want to try this combo again although I would like to try just mixing codeine with concerta.
