Ritalin + valium = harmfull ???

ok heres the deal

earlier i ingested 20mg valium, come to find out my ritalin has arrived today and im eager to drop 20mg in a couple hours.

i took the valium about 2 hours ago and looking to drop the ritalin in another 2 hours leaving 4 hours since my diazepam ingestion.

i read in the faq that they cant be mixed but i was wondering since my doses are so low would i be pushing boundries here ?

Mixing a benzodiazepine with a stimulant such as ritalin is perfectly fine. In fact, whenever I indulge in cocaine or amphetamines I prefer to take a couple mg of klonopin along with it, as it smooths out the stimulant high and minimizes the crash. I find that a small dose of a benzo will take away the jitters, paranoia, anxiety, etc that can sometimes accompany the stimulant high.

Just keep your doses in check and use the normal precautions when dosing a stimulant.

Imo, it's only safe since Ritalin is already a safe stimulant. I wouldn't recommend combining like coke and benzos at the same time, although plenty of people enjoy that. Benzos are always nice to have on the comedown though...

Plenty of people are prescribed (myself included) Ritalin and benzos, you'll be fine.

the effects didnt last long what so ever, although it was a clean uplifting high sort of speak...im going to redose another 20mg since its a saturday night

btw im new to stims, always pigged out on alcohol and benzos prior
