I'm prescribed Ritalin 10mg... my dosage says "take 1-2 tablets as needed"

I've been on it for about 10 years now, usually take it before I study or go to work.

However, like pretty much everyone I know who takes Ritalin, I take anywhere between 30-50mgs when I have a cram session, big day at work, or even before a work out so I don't slow down. Or even if I just wanna have a good time with friends and feel like I need a little boost

I've never had a problem with side effects until now. About a year ago I tried ecstasy for the first time, and the teeth grinding was horrific. I dealt with it using a nuk like everyone else, and it was totally worth it and have done it multiple times since then. But now everytime I use my ritalin (even if it's just the prescribed dosage) I experience the same teeth grinding as I did with X. My jaw kinda locks down and I have lip rings that i bite and play with and almost pull out.

is this normal? and what can I do to fix it, I can't exactly go to work, school or the gym with a nuk.

help please

Teeth grinding is horrific with MDMA, and you really notice it when you're doing it, unlike ritalin where the grinding is less pronounced. It's possible you always used to grind on ritalin, but since taking MDMA you're now much more aware of it going on. Another theory I have, which may or may not be possible, is that the MDMA reinforced the neurological pathways that cause gurning/grinding. As a result, the severity of the grinding is always going to be greater whenever you take a drug that has the capacity to cause it.

Buy some magnesium, you can get it online or at healthy living/supplement shops. It comes it bottles like this:

It'll stop you from gurning and grinding your teeth.
