Ritalin Recreational Value

You are on an awful low dose of Ritalin. 10 mg twice a day. I took 120 mg per day when I was 4 years old. Try a higher dose.

I take 90 mg of Focalin per day, 3 20 XR's and 3 10 IR's per day and I function well on it none of that cracked out crap from Ritalin or the old Adderall/Dexedrine/Desoxyn sit around and stare off until you go psychotic.

It is the the best thing for my ADHD personally.
 
I just wanted to give an update on currently what me and my doctor are doing. I was taking 20mg 2x daily for a week and a half, then I made a appointment to see my doctor because it was up and down all day and lasted for like 30mins a pill. So I figured out my insurance covered concerta (my doctor wanted me to find this out before my appt.)

So I went and saw him yesterday and he switched me from 20mg methylin 2xdaily to 54mg concerta once daily. And wants me to come back in a month, or sooner if it does not seem to be working.

And if it does not work he wants to try another medication.. EI(dexedrine, adderall, or focalin) I think because I don't know what other stimulants there are...

But yah, it did work a little bit, not as strong as the 20mg IR's but it definitly wasn't up and down, it was like up then slowly leveling out to nothing throughout the day, so I did not even feel any spaced out or come down feeling at all.

It just doesn't seem like the methylphenidate is working, and I rather it did rather than having to take some "HARD" add medications, such ones that will show up in my UA's it will be fine cause I am prescribed but still it feels like I am not clean anymore if I take those...

but Yah, any advice on what would be a next good stimulant to try after trying all forms of ritalin, and my doctor is on board for another stimulant trial.
 
Can anyone give me more info on Vyvanse. Just started yesterday on 50mg as prescribed but decided to take 2 more = 150mg> After the 2nd one, the buzz went away and I felt extremely tired. How to keep the vyvanse buzz going and avoid the tiredness? What is the max amount someone can take? I'm only 5'4 and 135 lbs.
