Ritalin + Provigil

I don't know how to post a thread--I just joined. I am taking 50mg Adderall---I used to be on Ritalin, and I want to switch back and try ritalin plus provigil for chronic fatigue/narcolepsy and ADHD--anyone have anything good to say about combining these 2---how do they talk their doctors into getting both? Are there any positive articles on this combination?

Ya combining an amphetamine with sleep deprivation sounds like it could potentially be dangerous. Can't hurt talking to your doc tho

A friend of mine combined these two (has a prescription - we can't tell you how to talk to a doctor to get a prescription for something - it's a legal grey area) and it was too much stimulation even for him (and he has an amphetamine tolerance).

I've taken Provigil before and thought it was a nicer, smoother stimulant than the amphetamines, but saw no need to mix it with another stimulant, even caffeine.
