Misc Ritalin plus DXM benefits

I've found only two threads here dealing with the DXM + Ritalin combo. Although they agreed on it's safety, the question remains of wether it's fun or if Ritalin (say 20mg IR) ruins or enhances the DXM pleasant effects (first plateau only). Any light on the matter is welcomed.

oh god. look you are listening to someone who has had over 300 bad robo trips and let me tell you... if i was on speed while having them i would probably have died. Robo fucks your heart up enough as it is. When you get the droning sirens in your head and your heart feels like it's gonna explode and you dont even know how to talk and you cant walk and you forget what a cd player is and why it is in your hand the first thing on my mind was not boy id like some speed right now. if i could think that straight. i think i was busy astral projecting to ozric tentacle created shrines and leaving my body, but yea no speed man dont do it.

I believe that DXM is effective in reducing tolerance of methylphenidate built up over time, but I wouldn't suggest using them together. DXM is an extremely powerful drug when used correctly and there is no reason to be mixing a stimulant with it.

I have had some good times on this combo but the come down isnt worth it IME. When coming down from dxm I always get the worst restless leg syndrome and a horrible headache. These negative side effects combined with the shitty feeling of a stimulant come down can make for a very frustrating night. If you are going to try it id sugest to have a few valiums on hand if possible

DXM and Methylphenidate? Man that sounds, well, just awful.

I'm not going to give you a hard time about the questionable recreational value of these two drugs, as I'm sure others won't spare you of their opinions. But honestly, if you are the type of person who likes Dextromethorphan; that spaced out dissociated experience, then go for it. But I think you'd be better off keeping these drugs separate. DXM can put you in some very strange places by itself, and I can only imagine how a stimulant like Ritilan would propel or magnify that weird energy even further.

It's all a matter of opinion. "Fun" is not something that can be objectively defined, and whether someone even likes the combo or not is just as opinion-based.

That said, we don't allow threads asking "is this combo fun/good?"
