is there a simple way to break down the Ritalin extended version in order to get the full dosage at once???

The standard instant version of Ritalin has very low mg, requires constant restock.

Yes - just crush it. I mean, it depends on the brand, but when I was prescribed ritalin XR the time release mechanism was so weak you could literally just scratch off the reddish coating to turn it into IR.

It's possible for there to be more advanced time release formulations which are crush resistant but I don't know if this is done with methylphenidate since IR is also widely prescribed and it isn't (AFAIK) considered a medicine with a huge abuse liability, more commonly the crush resistant time release mechanisms are used to stop people from enjoying their opiates too much. The world is fucked though and the pharma industry is full of cunts so who knows, if you haven't tried just crushing it yet though of course do that. It should be pretty obvious if it's gonna work IMO, the XR ones I had you could literally just break in half and a little white powder would spill out.

It depends on the brand of Methylphenidate you have.

Brands that utilise an osmotic-controlled release system (OROS) such as Concerta aren't worth the effort, in my opinion. The outer layer can be removed and this contains a small amount of 'instant release' Methylphenidate but the majority of the dose is tightly bound in a polymer matrix. Without access to solvents and laboratory equipment (and a lot of time), it is essentially not possible to defeat the OROS.

Years ago I got ahold of a large quantity of Jurnista tablets (Australian Hydromorphone in an OROS). I tried (and failed) to get it in a state where it could be snorted but found sucking the tablet worked okay. This does defeat the controlled release system, but it isn't what most people are after.

How can you tell if the brand you have can be made IR? If you can't crush it, it's an OROS.

Alcohol acetone and a non polar solvent would make it a joke to bypass.

The extended release capsules with the little beads in them are definitely crushable into IR (the Novartis 40mg capsules we sometimes get are anyway). The damn beads are a nightmare to work with hough so I'd advise a simple manual screwdown pillcrusher, works a treat. And some mg scales and spare empty capsules too.

I'd still advise oral ROA over snorting though even when crushed as that gunky shit the beads are made from is still there, just all crushed with the powder

My doctor prescribed me 10mg of Ritalin a day for the fatigue from MS.
Last time I tried meth i had bad anxiety so I'm curious if this will be the same? He said it shouldn't because the dose is low and I'm on clonzepam. I'm just nervous taking it but I desperately need some energy.

If you like mortar and pestil it to crush the beads up. It still won't hit as well as just eating some instant releases though. That's the way to go if you want to have fun with ritalin.

If it's ritalin SR capsules with the small beads inside:

1) Find a battery drill with a long hex key driver bit.

2) Make sure the hex key size is larger than the diameter of the bit.

3) Place the small balls into a shot glass or other small plastic container.

4) Insert the long hex key bit into the container. Make sure it touches the bottom and still has length above the container lid. Place your hand gentle around the lid and drill/hex bit and start to drill.

5) Use the drill to slowly turn the small ritalin balls into powder. Keep a good seal with your hand over the top to avoid balls bouncing out but don't grip too hard around the moving hex key to avoid blistering your hand.

MPH XR capsules with beads inside …..pulverize beads in pharmaceutical glass mortar & pastel ….the pour powder onto hard clean surface in pile, take card and flick the wrist lightly to spread powder super thin across desk, must use paper currency and hard steel tool, scrape bill slowly with powder under it…..will become an even finer powder

Now…..you have API (Methylphenidate) and all the excipients (MCC 101, etc bulking flow agents) you COULD do a Cold Water Extraction to remove all insoluble excipients leaving you with the hydrochloride salt of MPH …..you could use Isopropyl Alcohol as a tool to remove MPH from excipients…..alcohol will evaporate in the blazing sun leaving you 100% pure Methylphenidate HCL crystalline salts ……wet nasal cavity and lightly snort MPH powder with enhanced absorption entering bloodstream directly without injecting it

In Canada we have 2 brands of XR beads……one, the powder is all identical mixed together……the other is amazing, the pure MPH is easily identified, as the excipients clump together and is sticky and gummy a bit…..so it easily to pulverize and separate the Methylphenidate HCL crystals from the clumpy sticky excipients

Oral is still great, after a light fatty meal and taken Ritlain, drinking ethanol mixed drinks to convert / increase levels of d-threo-methylphenidate (Focalin) by 40% significantly enhancing euphoric & pleasurable effects as this is what binds to the DAT/NET responsible for the desired effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate)
