Ritalin for work

I have a few 20mg slow release ritalin. I dont ever do them but someone gave me them. I do oxys everyday at work, not get high but to keep me from withdrawling. What im wondering is would taking any of these make my day go by faster? My job is very repeditave. So im curious if being on ritalin would make time feel like its going by faster, or make doing the same thing over and over less boring. If so should I swallow it whole or crush it? and how much would I need to just make my day go by faster?

ask your bosses. explain that you're no stranger to drugs on the job and they should be able to give you an accurate/safe doage and ROA. That's what I'd do.
 
I'd like real answers please not smart ass remarks. Its not like im going to be fucked up. Its no different than people drinking tons of coffee or other shit to make the day go by. Only I want something thats acutlaly going to work, not some bullshit like coffee that doesnt even make time go by faster. Like i said I wont be right fucekd up at work. Just wondering if it'd make time go by faster. Or make it less boring
 
ritalin sucks IMHO... for me, it would make work suck ass because I would feel terrible and the come down=shit... I'm a downer guy however... Only speed I ever liked was coke in my rig
 
I like it for eveyrhting...makes me study for hours so I'd assume it would make something repetitive and boring more interesting.

I like to take 60mg and that lasts me for the day. I sometimes take more. But if u can do with 10-20mg it's obivously better for your body.

I hate adderall and it made me crash hard core but for some reason after Ritalin stops working I just get sleepy and go to bed.

I like Ritalin. I already used up all mine for the month and will be seeing my psych who will give me more this week. Can't wait. I get it prescribed but under prescribed as I need 60 and only get 20 for now as "u r a small person, u don't need that much" so I'm gonna go see my psych and hopefully he'll fix the situation.
Coffee makes me sick to my stomach and on Ritalin I can actually eat and stuff and I'm totally underweight so it's has been a good drug overall for me.

Just take it and see. Start at 10mg and see if u need more. I doubt it will feel that bad. IT's a stimulant. It makes me more focused and willing to do shit I hate doing. Makes me actually like doing shit I normally hate doing.
 
You may want to try the ritalin in a neutral setting so you have an idea of it's effects before you dose at work.
 
It would make the day go by faster for me. If you really want the time to fly, check out benzos ;).

(only joking guise)

Benzos (and GABAergics in general) make the hour hand move like the minute hand IME. Though doing that for work is just asking for trouble...

I think that eating 10mgs first thing in morning (does acidic environment hinder absorption like it does adderall?) on an empty stomach will provide the longest effect. You can then eat 5mgs as a booster maybe like after lunch and before the end of day. Most people with no tolerance start at 10mgs twice a day, not to be taken after 6pm or risk insomnia.

Sniffing works, but supposedly the talc can build up in your lungs. Plus much of it may get stuck in your nose (so make sure to clear the passage pre and post with water). The high is shorter when sniffed, and the onset is a bit quicker but no real rush.
 
Ritalin is so short acting you'd have to continually redose and escalate dosage to retain effects. The drug is crappy compared to the Amps as far as getting work done.
 
Im not much of an upper guy either, my fave drug being opiates. But as ppl in here have said. I wont be right tweaked out or anything I hope off a smaller dose, like 20 mg. I wont have to worry about redosing as the pills he gave me are 20mg slow release.

Now im curious, ppl find that benzos make time fly by? I would of thought that they'd tire me out and then time would go by slow. Do alot of you agree benzos would make time fly by, and the day be alot less boring?

I haven't used ritalin, but I have used adderall when I was in college and had lots of studying to do. Mostly finals week. I don't think it will really make time go by faster though unless you take a higher dosage but then it might be obvious you are on something otherwise it's just going to make you more focused and able to work longer.
 
At work I've used Focalin, Concerta, Ritalin, Provigil and Adderall. I've found them all very useful for performing dull, mindless tasks. Also, they help you move around, and stay on your feet, if your job requires that. I would take two 20mg pills when you go to work: one in the morning and one half-way through the day.
