Ritalin - dependance and withdrawal.

Hey I was diagnosed with ADD and put on Adderall last week and the pills aren't working like I thought they should they make me very Anti-social and all I want to to is go home and sit there like im coming down off coke. Do you think I may have been diagnosed with the wrong problem and should I call my doctor and tell him I may have ADHD instead of ADD? Also does Ritalin work well for your ADHD? What does it make you feel like? Im not looking to get high I just need my motivation and energy back, lately my grades have been slacking and I have been calling into work to take off for no reasons.
