Ritalin (Daytrana) & weight gain?

So, I'm on the Daytrana patches aka Ritalin. It's been almost 2 weeks n until today I was starving. I had to eat everything!! Finally today I'm not hungry.

Is it like that normally when u start adhd meds?

I thought u were suppose to lose or maintain weight. I've gained...15 lbs in 2 wks!!
