Stimulants Ritalin and epilepsy

According to my neurolgist, yes. well Dextro-Amphetamine specifically so Adderal also i guess, medical dosages offcourse. Methylphenidate ? insuperiour med anyway.

She also told me after 2 years being on them. anti-epileptics. First i was on the horrrible Levetiracetam, lots of unwanted side effect but failed to stop a seizure.
Later Valproic Acid which worked. Both anti-epileptics according to her excarbate ADHD.

And after the seizure, which afterwards was stress/ insomnia related. So no Epilepsy that i developed. My dr. stopped my ADHD meds, and sitting there, with a fried brain i went along. And stopped which resulted in making every health care professional go insane, as my ADHD was thru the roof.

Basickly are you on anti-epileptics and are you diagnosed ADHD/ Epilepsy, and is ADHD not yet medicated?

If so i would consult your neuologist about this. I took VPA and Dextro-Amphetamine together a while and noticed no adverse reaction. Off VPA now.
But i don t actually am epileptic, just had seizures. So it might be different for someone who is epileptic.

So not a diagnose for Epilepsy ?, they are seperate conditions.
At first they didnt cancel out Epilepsy after my seizures, but reconsidered after being free of them 2 + years.
She concluded, no Epilepsy, just prone to seizures.

Again just consult your dr s and have them handle it, eassiest way imo.
They get paid for it. Assuming you also have a ADHD diagnosis, which is a requirement for the combo.

Clobazam is supurb, sadly it hardly avaiable overhere when it was prescribed to me, shortages.
Then a 'addiction dr.' claimed i was addicted to them and canceled my prescription, and took my little stash for emergencies.
Lamictal, wonder if it also excarbates ADHD like Valproic Acid. Will have to look that up.

"Dexto-Amphetamine and Lamotrigine"

Interactions between your drugs

Focal epilepsy, I want to get off of lamictal. Did nothing for me, clobazam worked wonders though. Apparently I have to wait 3 months. My addiction psych is contacting nuero first.

Oh, and consulting addiction team, so unlikely unfortunately.

Well if you read my reply you know my point of view on specialists.
As they [overhere no nothing] a tactive appoach is the best,
otherwise i would have been made hooked on a SSRI at 20+.

So seeking the easiests ways. As its their job, they get paid.
I am the client, so King. Methaphorically speaking as in reality it doesn t always work.

Not dispuing the good ones, there are good medical practionerz.

Are you on Lamotrigine and its doing nothing like in stoppig seizures?

Had that on Levtiracetam, which is imo and according to Psychiatry leading to side effects,
so they cause an comorbid psychiatric condition on their own.
Which resulted in their clinics being filled with people gettin psyched by their med.

They advise Valproic Acid [VPA], which is better working and misses the psychiatric side effects.
But being on it before for supposed Bipolar. After a year orso became a sort of zombiefied/ anhedonic.
Switched to Lamotrigine/ Lamictal. Which didn t have that effect, it was a more gentle med.

If it doesn t work why are you on it, its pointless taking it right.
VPA has contraindications for woman, your male according to your account.
Levetiracetam, is 3/ 4/ 5 choice, i would take anything else but that one.
Kepprage, they didn t even warn about side effects.
So it was obvious or plain stupidity or they get some for pushing this med. What they get?
Must be something if it more important then there patient/ scientific research.

same for Methylphenidate [MPH] vs Dextro-Amphetamine.
No dr. would answer it, but why is the worst of the 2 MPH, 1-st line treatment ?
