So a friend of mine knows someone who knows someone who might have a brother who has autism and has this medicine prescribed to them.

His bro who doesn't have autism took a little bit and said he felt pretty damn good.

Can this be used recreationally safely?

I would recommend not taking it PERIOD. it's an antipsychotic not a tranq and it has pretty horrible side effects.

So basically it's the oposite of what I want? I want a sert/dopa agonist right?

Risperidone has absolutely no recreational effects. Do not abuse this antipsychotic.

I know of 2 different people who experimented with trying to get high off of anti-psychotics/major tranquliizers (old name for them and not a tranq in a good way, might be given to someone pre op to knock their ass out, no rec value at all).

One dude stole some pills from his dr's office. He took them before going to a rock concert. He wound up suffering with a side effect which I believe is called dystonia. Basically he was at the rock concert and his head was tilted to one side, so one ear was basically pinned to his shoulder the whole night and there was nothing he could do about it (except leave and go to the ER to get a side effect medication to stop it).

Another dude stole his uncle's haldol and took it trying to get high. He experienced the wonderful side effect of Oculogyric crisis. Basically, his eyes, uncontrollably rolled back up in his head so you could only see the whites of his eyes and he could see nothing. He was taken to the ER and given a shot to make this side effect stop, but he was scared shit and didn't know if it would go away until he got to the ER and told them what he did.

These are heavy medications with no rec value, and while this one you speak of is a newer one with less serious side effects, there are still no positive rec effects.

Can you immagine being at a rock concert, on like LSD in addition to whatever that dude took and walking around tripping wondering wtf is going on and if it's ever gonna go away....? lol

Stay away from this stuff unless prescribed by a dr to you specifically. These stories were funny to laugh at in retrospect with the guys telling me about them but they were scared shitless when they were happening. I'd rather have my brain be that egg cracked and bubbling in a frying pan than have something like some of the shit above happen to me lol

This. Recreational use of Risperidol..... You gotta love Bluelight.

@OP I see this thread going absolutely nowhere at all due to the complete lack of desired effects of an atypical antipsychotic, but if you feel like more HR discussion could be added, let me know via PM and I'll reopen this.
