I have Aspergers and the biggest issue I have is sensory issues. It's gotten bad that I get angry and throw things. Basically my skin feels extra sensitive and I can feel the tips of my fingers, feet, and lips. It's difficult toe explain if you've never felt it as it's no pain but it's definitely not comfortable.

The antipsychotic risperidone works to alleviate these issues. The thing is, I also feel my adrenal glands/kidneys affected before it dampens the sensation. Does anyone know what this could be? I know a bit about the kidneys/adrenals but don't see any chemicals produced or filtered that could affect touch sensation.

I've taken a lot of risperidone.

Can you describe what side effects you're having a bit more? Why do you think it's adrenal or kidneys?
