So I am on Zoloft, but after still feeling like I was about to go crazy, I was put on .25mg risperdal as well. I am looking to be numb, as feeling nothing at all would feel like a mind vacation for me.

Does anyone have any experience with risperdal for intense anxiety and racing thoughts? I am also on klonopin, but would like to stop taking it so often as withdrawal is a nasty bitch. Although klonopin numbs me quite well so if this don't work mabye I will just stay on klonopin for life.

I don't recommend staying on Klonopin for life...unless you really need to. Benzo withdrawal is horrible and antipsychotic withdrawal can almost be nonexistant.

I also thought I was going to be on Klonopin for life but one day I decided that I wanted off so I tapered over the course of 5 months. I was on it for 11 years, was a real bitch to get off of and the mental withdrawals never go away. I've been off of it for 9 months with some minor relapses along the way and yet I still suffer physical withdrawals. They are mild but still apparent. I hear it takes 12-18 months for them to completely go away.
