Ripped off by a friend - need advice

Sounds like a forgone addict.

Eventually he will lose everything and write a letter to you because the people at NA told him he needs to.

Of course, I don't know if the people at NA would applaud you for trying to score drugs off of an addict anyway.....
 
I don't think he'll give you your money back. IMO, the best thing you could end up with is his connection. (Like I said in my original post)

Just to clarify: I agree with all who mention a 'finders fee' or 'tax' being a couple of lines, whatever. Thing is, whenever I've gone through him, we've blown a few together, and offered to leave him some for later. I'm not stingy that way, so this backhanded shit was way off base.

I won't even be needing a connection for a while; we need to let our noses heal anyway. Fucked nose = what's coke good for? (Not interested in smoking or shooting it).

It's a sad lesson to learn, though. Funny enough, it's only been a few months since I've gotten into coke but it's only taken this long for this drug to expose the assholes...
 
Ask him to introduce you to his connection (to make up for his fuck up) and then stay as far away from the guy as you can (no matter if he gives you the intro or not). If he offers you any money, take it and stay as far away from the guy as possible.
 
Explain to him exactly how much he hurt you physically, and how it makes you feel that a friend fucked you over.

Ask for an apology (at least) and your money back as well if you feel like it. If he refuses either then you are entirely within your rights to cut him off as a friend and never speak to him again. Since he did at least admit he had done wrong maybe you can give him the chance to make full restitution (financial and apology) if you feel generous but it's up to you.

You should probably taste it before you buy it next time.People strung out on coke are shady thought that was common knowledge.

If you were in serious physical pain I PERSONALLY would match the pain he put me through but id wear masks or whatever so i wouldnt be identified (this is real bad advice huh) thats just what i would personally do because im hot headed and vengeful. If you dont put him in the hospital i like will's idea no violence just try to con or manipulate him in to getting his source and never speak talk mail fax email carrier pigeon him again. because hes a peice of shit. He is not your friend he is a cokehead now i dont care what hes told you drug addicts fucking lie and they will do so till the cows come home. Coke is one of the shadier drugs ive ever dealt with, without question.=D Im suprised more people didnt say beat his ass but they have probably have been there before and it probably ends up with nothing but trouble and you should probably not take this advice haha!

This is true. I have been debating whether or not to start a thread or even do a journal entry about my experiences in the wonderful world of drugs, I think it would benefit a lot of the people here especially those beginning to dabble in it, those who are getting in over their head and those distancing themselves from the scene.

Unfortunately there are no such things as drugs and friends when you meet friends through the drug scene, especially when they start using the "but we are friends so you should trust me to never rip you off "routine, when it is apparent they actually are.

Im coming out of the scene and have been under the watchful eye of family helping me get and stay clean. When I have sorted out the necessary shit in my life and am ready, I am sure you and others would get something from my story. Its not pretty and does not have a happy ending. But as BL is supposed to help those who might be putting themselves in harms way, I should do my bit to do what I can to help others.

So not sure- here in DC or journal for this? Mods you decide.<3
