I'm not sure if this is in the right spot but I just found out the lead vocalist of Suicide Silence died... Whoa this band has been doing so well and its shocking how their vocalist (Mitch) just ended up dying. It was due to a motorcycle accident. You can read about it in the article below. Its sad especially because I use to listen to them all the time and even got into their shows twice for free I just hung up posters with the time of their set.

I wonder where they will move on from here.... especially since they just signed a new record deal.
 
These guys come to my town fairly frequently (they used to anyway), and I've actually seen them before. Like all other bands in the Deathcore genre, I think their music is shit, but it's always sad when a musician dies young, especially when their career seemed to be taking off.
 
Yeah I grew away from this genre but I wont lie sometimes I still can put on a song or two and jam out. Even though that sounds corny but had no other way to put it. I just found this to be super sad because this band did encourage many other people to get together and make music....such an influence on many. The worst thing however is he was so young, I believe married and has a little girl. Really crazy.

Well I guess he wanted to live his life to the fullest.... He even use to be straight edge but grew out of that (that's why his knuckles are all blacked out due to an old straightedge tattoo). Too bad it was all cut too short.

I also gave up this kind of music many years ago. I remember when they were a small band playing tiny venues in London. I also understand that his five year old daughter went on tour with him and attended pretty much every show. They were really close (considering he's a touring musician) and it's tough to think of how this will affect her, in particular.

He was the nicest guy you could ever meet. And surprisingly enough, he was rather shy. I met Mitch in February of 2011 after one of their concerts...I LOVED his brutal style onstage, and my God, his tattoos were pure beauty. I cried when I heard the news about his death.

Suicide Silence is my favorite band. Their music makes me incredibly happy. I fucking love deathcore. <3
 
Yeah I met him and have a signed shirt from him packed away (been moving around). He was an awesome dude and super nice. A fan never left his shows unhappy... Its just so funny because he was so brutal on stage but then if you talked to him he was far from that off stage. I cried watching his candlelight vigil and I never cry but it was sad.... Its super sad how his daughter lost him, her best friend.

Yeah it was weird...onstage he was this brutal, screaming animal but offstage he was just an awesome dude with dimples and a shy smile. I loved him so much.

This is going to sound really lame, but I was sure that one day I'd sleep with him. %)

I totally had the hots for that dude. His voice, his body, those awesome tattoos.
 
LOL!!!!!!! I'm not going to lie I wanted to sleep with him too. I was like if my friend and I drop a good song then maybe it will happen. Yeah I posted I wanted to bang him in one thread. You're not alone lol =D Ugh too bad.... and I'm not into necrophilia so it will never happen.
 
Haha. I knew I wasn't the only one. That dude was so fucking sexy! And he was 6' 3"...I love tall guys.

Well, moving on...the next dude I want to bang is Scott Lewis from Carnifex. :D
