Posting this a bit late. I knew the man and have been dealing with friends and family all day going over this grief we are dealing with.

The death was sudden. The band won't comment on the causes besides the two facts, it was "sudden" and was 35.
On facebook it's been confirmed he was in a coma since the 24th. So I think we can tell from the info out there and read between the lines what happened. Those close to him knew of his struggles in life.
RIP Mikey; the universe took you from us way too early. You had a huge impact in so many of our lives. Your humor and music will never be forgotten. May your spirit travel around the universe for eternity. Thank you for the gifts you gave us.
