I can't believe he was 70. If I make it until 70, it'll be a fucking miracle. It just goes to show that abusing drugs doesn't necessarily mean a young death (speed being his drug of choice, obviously. I wouldn't apply the same logic to smack, etc.)
It's a shame, but he's had a decent life, and plenty of fun along the way.

There was a really good documentary on Lemmy on BBC3 a while back (still on YouTube I think). Well worth watch...
There's a great part where he is a room with his son full of different instruments an memorabilia and he's asked "what's the most valuable thing in this room" and he answers "my son" (or words to that effect)... Very touching....
On another note I've just got up and done shopping and jammed my fucking finger in the door. Hurt like a bastard too. And I think I'm coming down with man flu
.. Got to go to work tonight as well....
