I know he had friends here, and I thought I might share with them, Brandon has passed. He was a bright light in the world, and an awesome guy in most all ways. You'll be missed, friend

Awww man, really really sorry to hear that. Never talked to him personally, but he seemed like a good dude. Always sad to hear of a fellow BLer passing, I feel a certain kinship to all the people on this board regardless of if I know/talk to them or not. RIP Fizzacyst, you were a very intellegent guy with lots of great information to share, and helped out many people and fellow bluelighters, myself included, you will be missed.

Very sad news.

Fizzacyst was an incredibly kind and intelligent person. He will be sorely missed.

it was, in fact, drug related..... I don't really know the guidelines on speaking to specifics, and I only know third hand information (he was found friday by his girlfriend whom he had a beautiful young girl with)

Please be careful, everyone..... Brandon was a STAUNCH advocate of harm reduction, but it appears that in the end, even the smartest people can, AND DO, make mistakes

That's so sad :( Condolences and everything, though I never knew him I read a lot of his posts.

:( I never know how to respond to these threads, it makes me really sad everytime we lose a BLer but I don't really know how to express it in an authentic way. Love and warmth to fizzacyst's friends and family. Even if I'm not somebody's "friend" on Bluelight I still notice and remember everyone here and it's sad to lose a member of this particular family. Rest in peace man.

Aw man, one of the greats. I wish I had got to know him better. His wisdom and information he gave to all of us is still around this place. He was one of the main posters here and a huge part of my education on the subject matter here long ago came from him.

Rest in peace <3

Super sad news. I didn't know him either but send my love out to his wife and kid and the rest of his family and friends. It always hits home in a weird way when Bluelighters pass away. Be safe out there everyone !!!

I will not speculate about how Brandon died.... all I can say is that Brandon was incredibly careful, meticulously so, and his death at the hands of something he thought he knew and understood well enough to use safely is proof that mistakes can, are, and do happen, and it CAN happen to you, regardless of how smart you think you are.....everyone, please be safe
