A great artist. We may never see the likes of someone such as Bowie again - it just doesn't happen anymore. Such originality. Thanks for the great music and great film roles <3

When I was 9, in 1992, somebody gave me a double cassette box set of Bowie singles. I must have listened to those tapes thousands of times. Thank fuck for David Bowie.
 
RIP, couldn't believe it when I heard it in the car this morning. So few of the greats left from his era that are still relevant, Neil Young for sure, Randy Newman mostly doing movies, most of the rest are content to be heritage acts and even those who aren't cannot match Bowie for ambition,
