I dont know what its like for everyone else, but what i am noticeing is a decline on the popularity of cocaine here around sydney's west/inner west due to two main things i believe,
1. cocaine seems to turn any 'angel' greedy. the longer it seems ppl sell it and/or the more they will use it themselves, the more likely they will spounge from their deals and customers for their own greedy pockets/noses.
2. Its popularity has surged across australia. unlike what i read in media reports (like the recent one in the drug busts thread) i have noticed a gradual dropping of purity as coke has become more popular across australia, and because of this i have noticed drug popularity and trends change here.

I have noticed cocaine becomeing less popular here and i have seen an increase in popularity and useage of meth and the MDMA like chemicals.
for over 2 decades methamphetamine use has been rife all over australia, but ive seen and heard that in sydney/sydney's west there is an increase of crystal meth/ice use to the traditional 'base' or powdered meth use. MDMA seems to be makeing a comeback too as i have been told and noticed. the quality of mdxx pills is slowly increasing and theres a growing popularity for mdma in powder/crystal form. Price would also play apart cos everyone knows that charlie is expensive, meth and other chems give more bang for your buck. (sorry if what i just wrote was borderline illegal mentioning price mods)
Anyone else notice this?? Please reply with what you have noticed in your area in terms of drug use and popularity trends...

PS Apparently the popularity of coke in western EU in the last year or so has declined with xtc like chems on the up. I have always believed that australias drug trends lag europes by around 5-10 years, maybe im seeing this?...

PPS I have tried to keep this thread inside the rules and whats tolarated, please reply likewise.

The rules speak for me on this one...

*edit*

After a complaint from the OP, I thought i would add this...

A discussion thread of this sort is not what this section of BL is about. The availability discussion rule also includes chit chat about what is more or less available in your area so this rules out this thread.

It is also very difficult to gauge availability for any city (/area of a particular city) by a thread of this type in our forum. There may be a large number of people from a certain area who all take similar drugs and post on BL, while another group who is also in the same area and not posting on BL, could be using completely different substances.

I completely understand and respect what OND43X is trying to do with the thread, but other factors could skew any evidence of drug trends so that they are not a true representation of the wider community.
