Heroin rig not working dope not dissolving?

why do people always heat they're heroin? I never did my 15yrs, obnly a few times, u see it all over TV, I see some people do it..common stereotypical theme? I use ice water when I shoot pills, I only use heat when I have to, when shooting crack to help break down rocks, and burn off impurities..u cant just boldly say never use heat for injecting ever...
 
Sorry to side-track, but is this whole numerical grading system (ie grade 3 heroin etc) an indicator of quality? Eg grade 1 would be excellent; grade 4 would be terrible?

We have grade 4 in the UK and citric acid is a necessity btw

No it has nothing to do with that. The numbers indicate the way the heroin is made and what form it is in.

They are pretty meaningless though as they were created a long time ago. The only thing you need to know is that #4 heroin is powder heroin, the kind of H you get on the east coast of the US. It is generally the strongest, purest H.

#3 heroin is heroin in freebase form, that's what you find in the UK and other parts of Europe.

Then there is black tar heroin, which isn't any number (well, it's still kind of #4 but nowhere near as refined as powder H). It is a mixture of heroin from lower quality morphine derivatives.

As for heroin number "1" and "2", you'll never find that as it's not really even heroin. Technically, it gets closer to straight morphine before the conversion process the further you get to "heroin number 1".

^Why do they even call it that if there's no such thing as number 1....I'm surprised we haven't had some jackass come on here asking how they can break down the number "100% pure #1 heroin" they bought directly from the Sinaloa drug cartel or something....
 
how would one go about smoking east coast powder heroin? In my opinion, if you put the powder on foil and put heat under it, you would just burn the powder and ruin it all even if you inhaled all the smoke. I also wondered if you mixed the powder with a little bit of water, put oN FOIL, and use heat to vaporize the solution and inhale? would any of these methods be sufficient?

when I was already into IVing heroin, I tried smoking it by putting the powder on foil, and inhaling the smoke, but I couldn't tell cuz I WAS ALREADY HIGH from shooting it, the people who smoked with me who haven't touched heroin claimed not to get high..
