Misc Ridiculous Antibiotics question

So this is quite possibly the most ridiculous question I've ever asked, so this might be the most ridiculous question you've ever heard. However, understanding my slight paranoia, and lack of knowlege on antibiotics makes it an understandable question. You can make fun of me, as long as you try and answer lol. That said, here goes.

So antibiotics essentially "turn off" certain types of birth control correct? I have a UTI and I am taking the antibiotics, not her. But to be mature about the scenerio... I B'ed my L in her mouth last night. Since I am taking antibiotics, would there be any in my semen? If so, should I be concerned now about her birth control no longer being effective?

wow are you being for real? i am sorry but i have no idea but if i had to make an educated guess the antibiotic wouldnt be very concentrated in semen maybe more in urine but still low so i wouldnt think there would be much risk hope that helps a little
 
Some antibiotic will be present but I'm not sure if your medicine (whatever it is) seriously impacts birth control or if it would be present in high enough quantity to have effect. My gut tells me that it's not likely, but I'd use other protection like condoms for a few days if I wanted to be totally safe.
 
Trust me, I know how dumb the question sounds. But I know NOTHING about antibiotics, and that question is a bit too odd for any search engine I tried to give me anything even remotely close. I know what you eat has an effect on semen, so I thought there was at least a LITTLE logic behind it. Thanks
 
you should be fine man, thats not medical advice, but my best guestimate. also, if you are truly worried about this, ask BEFORE you bust your load, NOT after. haha, best of luck to you mate.
