actually those questions were part of some psychological test given out to two subject groups - one of were I think adults, and the other were 5 year olds in school.
barely any of the adults could answer it, but most of the 5 year olds could.
I dont have a link to the study unfortunately, but it was interesting.

Haven't read any replies, replying to number 2:

Put 3 balls on either side of scales, if it's equal then the heaviest ball is either one of the leftover 2, weigh them and find out. If not equal, pick the 3 balls from the heavier side and then put 2 of those on the scales. That's how.

romeo and juliet were experimenting with drugs, then they had a competition to see who could skull the most water out of 4 litre glass bottles. they both drowned without finishing thier water and the bottles broke when they hit the ground. =D

mid one depends on whether its around a track or something. You could be anywhere from 1st to 2nd last if you overtake the last person and they're reaaaaally slow :p
