I recently acquired 20x 10mg codeine 500mg APAP pills. However, I noticed they have hydrogenated ricin oil, presumably to prevent constipation. Now, I've read online and found that ricin oil is not poisonous, as opposed to straight up ricin. My question is, will taking that amount of ricin oil give me horrible diaharrea? Since its technically an oil, will it float at the top after the extraction and can it be removed then?

My guess is the ricin oil is used to make the coating. I highly doubt you'll get diarrhea from consuming what is gonna be less than 1/8th a tablespoon of vegetable oil. lol.

Do people call it ricin oil? I thought it was known as "castor bean oil'.

The amount of oil in a tablet is going to be miniscule. It's not there to prevent constipation, more likely it is a lubricant so the pills pop out of their molds properly.
