Rhodiola Rosea

Damn man^ i have also heard about it and am interested in it...dr oz even mentioned it!

I saw this brand in one of the health food stores by me called gaia, has anyone heard of them? They had rhodiola rosea that seemed like a pretty quality product and it better be because of the 25 dollars you hanve to spend for i think its like a month worth of servings.

Im tempted to try it i would loveeee me some more motivation haha.

i take one cap with water soon as i wake up (on an empty stomach) and imo it makes my mornings a tad easier. not sure about the mood, ill give it another week, i originally bought it for depression/anxiety

im still not sure of how Rhodiola is supposed to work though?
i've read its an MAO-B inhibitor, then on other sites i saw that it increases dopamine/epinephrine in certain parts of the brain, and serotonin in others...:\
 
I've not been late for work once since I've been using it. My boss just said I've been more efficient that usual this week :-)
The capsules I take supposedly have a 175mg concentrated root extract, the brand is Good n'natural (not sure if I'm allowed to write that).
 
Update...2 weeks in, a few pretty negative effects.

It's becoming nigh impossible to get up in the morning, and I get tired pretty early. I'll happily go to bed around 7/8/9pm, and find it a struggle to get up before 9am.

I'm going to continue taking these for another week or two to see if the effects get better

I hear you're supposed cycle with it--5 days on and 2 days off or something like that. Anyway, I do that, and it ...works. It just does. Stress levels go way down.

where did you hear about the cycling?
and so you're saying that your depression/anxiety have gone down?
its not really doing much for me, im throwing in 1G tyrosine/day with it so hopefully it'll help.
stupid fucking depression, getting worse and worse and nothings helping :(
 
So basically, take them during the week, and not at the weekend?

Perfect! I can put them in my desk drawer
