Follow the siren to the end of the open portal
In this day of regret my soul follows the scent
Muted slews of red regression stained on paper cup
It's the intoxicating malodor set on impaled-tine-lines
Swathed in catering whims of nothing but soul-cap
Toted on beams of catatonic sargent's wife's-lap
Apocryphal war zone seeps forlorn in effect of the smelt
I used to love the eruptions amalgamated in the leys
Head so close to a rose i could taste the thorns

re-invented through a tube you used to use in recluse
delapidated (habitat) i can barely see through your ruin
to hold a stick to, to hold a dream i could pass through
in hope of diminishing all effects of you of you of you
i've catered to a (figure) in a mine, not a figure that's mine

gratuitous (muses) speak for me in a day of slumber

if its not the legendary RareForm-style piece ;) You definitely stay true to your personal way of packing tough punches through words... Very impressive as always, Drew! Plenty of associations and images! btw page me or something :)
