I raised something to this effect before and certain users petititioned the admins to get it deleted or moved to a trivia section. Anyway, as we know EM/RF waves can modulate brainwaves im wondering if, by a similar process, a particular frequency could directly illicit changes (increases or decreases) in hormones or neurotransmitters. In other words can we get high from mere frequencies ? I do know that various pathogens be they viral or bacterial can be destabilized/destroyed by corresponding frequencies, and that there are frequencies to effect any given thing in a number or ways (see RIFE research). Hence remote modulation of our CNS should not be an issue. I kind of suspect the military already knows this stuff inside out and its all kept suppressed but i digress. Thinking caps on, how do we get high with radio or em and what frequencies are we looking for ?

Radio frequency ie microwave radiation can heat up water containing things.

Short wave radiation (UV band and shorter) can ionize things and cause some DNA breaks. Probably won't immediately alter perception, but could through altering connectivity.

Real issue is that our brain needs the right thing to happen in the right places for a sensation to occur. Radio waves are going to be pretty crude, even things like transcranial direct current stimulation are very crude.

There are frequencies that can put the brain/mind into a state of deep relaxation. There are also frequencies that can accelerate healing and kill pathogens. There are frequencies that are claimed to illicit more specific hormonal and neurological changes but im unsure as to their efficacy.

What about frequencies delivered to specific cells/brain regions in the form of light waves ?

This is something I know about. The technique optogenetics involves genetically encoding ion channels called channelrhodopsins which open up with certain colors of light and depolarize/hyperpolarize a neuron. These can be added to specific circuits using systems like cre, and using fiber optics these circuits of neurons can be driven with pulses of light.

Unfortunately you would need to have genetic modifications from birth to get circuit level specificity if you were injecting virus into your brain.
