Awhile back I got a prescription of "Sal Acid/Hydroc/Fl. Col". From research, I'm betting it's salicylic acid with hydrochloric acid.
Well, stupid me let some build up around the rim of the bottle so upon closing it one night it didn't seal and almost all of it dried up. I've used up what hasn't dried up yet still need more. I am unable to go visit my doctor for an appointment and the prescription is non-refillable. Nor could I pay for this prescription out of pocket. Not to mention I wouldn't need another full bottle--I just need a little bit more. Is there any way I can revive the dried up contents of this bottle? My mom suggested boiling the entire bottle but I don't feel that's safe seeing as the bottle contains very potent acid.
For those of you wondering what I'm doing with salicylic/hydrochloric acid, I have a stubborn wart on my foot. I highly doubt OTC shit would do anything. I've been using Mediplast pads (which contain 40% salicylic acid) during the day but those take upwards of a week to do what the bottled stuff does in a couple days.
