im not gonna post any more... but i dont think you were on the road everyweekend trying to get people in to those parties...

i think ill just go to funky charms and have some fun... indy is full of horse shit
 
i have been in indy for a good 2 months now and i have seen very little horseshit..... common misconception.

Actually, it's funny you shoudl say that.

A kid -- who shall remain nameless -- back in 1998 tried
to not only take partial credit for the infamous BITCHES
GET THE SMACK DOWN party ( ;) ) but also started booking
Djs under the HofB name.

So, yeah, I know what it's like ... and yeah, i was even alittle
PO'd about it... but in the end, there are two truths to parties
that I'm sure still holds true for the dwindling # of ppl going
to parties still today:

1) people don't give a fuck what prod comp is on the flyer
(unless you consistently piss you off) and half the time, the
only know the title of the party and the cute little character
on the flyer...

and

2) the ppl who care to know the prod comp WILL know
who is REALLY behind the name.

those are the only 2 truths that seem to have survived
in the years.

so relax... no matter who tries to perpetrate,
if perpetratin' is really happening, the truth
will always come out in the wash...
 
I agree, I know half the people who got our flyer were like, "who the fuck is syon and kojent?" but shit, they still come. whats with all this ryan bashing, I dont know too much about whats going on, but flyering is an important part of the party, I just recently found out its not as easy as I once thought it was. Personally I have nothing against the guy. I think its time this shit ended on this thread, this is not what OUTLAW is about.

Plus, why the hell can nobody use the right word for "throw". You don't "through" parties, unless you are actually going "through" them. Sorry it just bugs the shit out of me.

Yeah you are very right Bryentt.. But the thing is.... I was told by a couple people that at Cupids... There were a big stack of your flyers just chillin in one spot .. so someone (remaining nameless) picked them up and made sure they got passed out. But yes can't wait for this event. Peace

It's part of rave culture that "flyer people" tend to say "yeah, i'm throwing this event..." it's happened before... it'll continue to happen... even in the big cities, when they say "hey, we're looking for street promoters", they are meaning they want people to hand out flyers....

so even that right there gets things confusing.

just get over it.

"street promoters" is better than saying "flyer bitches" by far.

And as for Ryan, yeah, he's a shit talker... but his shit talkin' is fun. And 90% of you raver hoes are all shit talkers...

I made sure there was not one table, shelf, counter,shitter,stage and bar
that diddnt have a flyer on it got one. oh yea got yelled at for throwing one on
the pool tables every time i walked by.
did I forget to mention I flyered the whole parking lot too.

so that party was SERVED RIGHT
had some going around at the after party too!!!!
I picked up that stack

the flier i got at the party was the one plastered on my car.

people were like... oh jen doesnt need one she'll be there...

and guess what. enough people have begged me to be there, so i will be.
