Not to bring up any drama whatsoever, but me and my bf were talking about this the other night. Everyone wonders as to why we can't get the scene back in Indy and wonders why it's just dying period, and it's simply because people just don't feel welcome anymore. Parties in the beginning were about unity and pretty much about acceptance. They were a place that people could go to escape the usual shit that they dealt with in high school and life in general. It didn't matter if you were a candy kid or a junglist or whatever because in the end everyone was exactly the same. It's not like that anymore. People are too worried about what everyone else is going to think, and it's becoming exactly like stupid HS bullshit. Drop everything, and just have fun, if you can be smart about it. Bringing up stupid shit on something like this isn't the right thing to do. It just causes problems for all of us. Come out, have a good time, and stop all of this stupid bs. We are all people, and all have our problems but let them drop for at least a few hours just so someone can say that they had a fun-fulfilled night. I havn't been around the Indy scene for very long because I'm from Toronto, but I have never seen so much hate amongst a group of people. Sorry but I really had to say my peace.
