Deep Blue Productions wants you to get:

WICKED!!

Halloween night (Oct. 31, 2003) at Expo Five in Louisville, KY

Main room:

Kooky Scientist (Plus 8, Telepathic) LIVE PA!!! - Boston's Fred Gianelli, formerly of Psychic TV, made his name in the techno world as Kooky Scientist on the Plus 8 label. Techno doesn't get much funkier than this...

Adam X (Sonic Groove)- If you don't know by now, you never will. This cat has been making and spinning techno since the beginning of NYC's Storm Rave days. With tons of releases, as well as a mix CD on WaxTrax, he has kept on top of the game for years. Be prepared for the sickest industrial-influenced techno you've never heard...

Adam Jay (Azure, Primate, Zync, SUBterror, MONOCHROME)
LIVE PA!! - We could try to put down every label this guy has releases on across the planet, but then there wouldn't be room for anyone else on the flyer! Indy's premiere techno producer and co-founder of MONOCHROME Mondays will be bringing the bang fo' yo' buck.

Ben Wu (club246.com) - Over the past eight years, Detroit's Ben Wu has steadily built an impressive dj resume that has gained him a reputation in canada and the US. Now taking up residence on the west coast, Ben has continued on his mission to bring beats to the masses.

DJ Shiva (SUBterror, MONOCHROME, Detelefunk [Detroit]) - Purveyor of fine techno for almost a decade, you know how Indy's techno terrorist plays the game: tight mixes and techical tricks to make you move. Expect the dark and hard sheeyat for Halloween mischiefmaking...

ARRRRGHHHH! There's a Hawtin party on the 31st in Detroit, which means I'm going to have to miss Fred Gianelli.

Many props to whoever organized this, though; Fred Gianelli is way underrated. Almost makes up for having Adam X on the lineup.

Wow, so many parties on Halloween, so little time to go to all of them. Good Luck in L-Ville. Hope everyone there has fun. Great lineup, and way to go. The midwest is "creepin' on the come up." WHUT!

the Kooky Scientist rawks he was at part 3 in evansville!

hey i remember that! he tore it up. i also remember it was really cold that night too. my car locks all froze shut and i was stuck in eville for a couple of days.

HEll yeah a party in the ville on halloween now i dont have to travel .!!!
looks like a good lineup!! I like the whole idea of having to wear a costume pretty much sounds like fun!

I'm not able to make it out to this, but that is definitely a killer lineup. The last time I saw Kooky Scientist was at a party called Integral in Pittsburgh in Sept. of '99, and it was in a warehouse!!

This party is going to be phat! I'll be playing at it and throwing some sick dark jungle down!!!wooohoo

holy techno lineup!

I've always thought that was the best sound for a Halloween party. that lineup is indeed golden. 8o

Wheres the flyers at? This party is 4 weeks away. This is the fourth party that I have heard about on Halloween this week. Promoters need to promote 2-3 months in advance to get a proper turn out.

Peace,

Drew

^ that's not true *at all*. hushabye house in louisville announces *sometimes* the week before and consistently is packed.

not to mention the fact that there are fewer and fewer events to flyer at. we've been doing pretty well with internet and word of mouth, but it would be nice to have flyers as well.

but fear not, techno people. flyers should be out this week according to the promoter...

Nate is a little slow on the flyers. Hopefully, they should be out this weekend at parties. They were suppose to be here last weekend but like I said nate is a little slow.

Doors open at 10:00pm and the party is over at 5:00am.

There won't be any costume contests, but I will probably end up getting drunk and pointing people out over the microphone, so wear something cool. If you're NOT dressed up there will be an extra charge of $5. As Shiva said, this is Halloween, dammit.

There will be NO drugs, weapons, alchohol, open containers, glowsticks, etc. allowed at the event. Anyone found to possess any of said items will be given 30 seconds to run and will then be shot in the back by my sidekick, Johnny Dingo. Trust me, he never misses.
