Kitsonik is right. I think Metropolis in Cincy is charging $35 and Jillians in Covington is $75. Promoters have to charge more because things cost more i.e..........DJ's, lighting, sound, venues, ect. Add in demand, meaning people absolutely want to do something, and thats why its more expensive. Just because we are locals doesn't mean that we are not "good enough". Most of us don't play the same tracks over and over again. I know I spend at least $100 a week buying new tracks to play. Many of the "locals" that everyone speaks of, have headlined shows else where and have played a lot out of state. I am looking forward to ringing in the new year with all of my closest "local" friends.
