I can't wait to come see everyone... it's been about a year or more since I've attended ANY event at all. Specially any B-town ones...

I think the last event I attended in B-Town was "Suck My FUnk 3".

Man - o - Man... Funk parties... *lol*

What is the re-admittance policy?

So you know, I dont want to leave persay to go smoke a blunt and get more drunk... then come back. But I would like to be able to go ditch a shirt or etc. something into my car maybe... or like stand outside a bit... maybe walk to taco bell for some food... cus my girlfriend is pregnant... so she has to eat.

Sooo... how will that work? Every other time I have been to B-town you guys' have all been pretty cool about it... :) Just checking before hand... So I know if I need to sneak some water in... *lol* j/k

but remember this is NOT at the old Hot Spot club. this is at a totally different venue away from downtown. make sure to check the directions.
 
Dear all:

This is BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA !!! In case you all haven't noticed but this town does not have any semblance of a 'scene'. None of us, regardless of what producer, promoter, DJ, record store owner we know, has any room to talk trash about one another. If we want to build a scene in this town we need to quit acting like drama queens, put our agenda down and help each other out. This is a team effort, guys. If you aren't willing to work towards a common goal, then get out of the game because you are bringing everyone else down with you. Major propers to Geek for putting this event on and actually making something happen in this town; he's done it well before and am confident he will do so again - I will be there, for sure. But, if the scene never transpires, the only ones to blame are the ones who don't work together.

I'm tired of going to parties and clubs and hearing all these smart-allick remarks, shit talking, bitching and unsubstantiated arguments about some DJ or Promoter. My advice:

DO THE SCENE A FAVOR AND HELP EACH OTHER OUT.

It's partly to do with people talking shit about my crew and my friends, yes that I will not deny. But, more than that, it's about all the backstabbing and underhanded remarks that so many people do in this town - yes, I have been guilty of it as well, I will not lie. There's a lot of talent in this town, whether the DJ talents of you, Colin, the Groovetech Crew and all the other Bloomington crews or the promoting of Geek and anyone else who will throw down some $$ to help us cats have a raucous night out. But, we need to put a halt to a lot of this drama and just work together. It really bothers me to see even small bits of this going on around here b/c in a small town like this, we need to combine our efforts in a lot of ways.
 
^^^It happens, who cares? Most of the time, its not serious. I think that Bloomington is doing pretty well for being such a small town with so many haters. I think they put Hater Aid in the water here. ;)

At least this semester, I haven't been able to make it to the Bull's gigs that you put on b/c I had to either go home to attend to family business or, at that one that Chocolate and Trevor played at, I was playing at Fusion in Indy. Really wanted to be at the Q-Burns party and Trevor's gig...hopefully I'll get to see Q-Burns when I visit the Bay Area this summer, though. But, it's been due to extenuating circumstances, more than anything.

Props on throwing those, by the way.

P.S. Checked out the new Buzzin' Fly releases? They are freakin hot. I think you might like it...I think it's Ben Watt's label.

but don't go out of some tired old ghost of an idea that
we need to build some scene or whatever... most of the
people who complain about "the scene" never truly suport
it to begin with.

I've never seen certain "scenesters" at Bullwinkles, currently
one of the only spots allowing for true edm Djs to come
represent (altho' admittedly on the housier end) ... and,
if you don't like house, you don't have to come... that's
the beauty of america. You can chose where you go.

this is my 7am-stuck-at-work-and-hating-it rant.
 
If you'd be a nice guy and let me goto this party... :) I have an underage fiance`... So I'm prolly not going to be able to attend this event. Which really sucks... cuz I'm not even 25 mins. from Bloomington... and I LOVE my B-town kids... damnit!!!

About the scene issue... never would I have thought I would hear you all bein like "Fuck a ''scene''... "we don't need it". Bugger off I say...
 
im 21 but muh car got inpounded and they took muh id but evey 1 that knows me knows im old enuff and i dont drink so will i bable 2 get in i got old ids but like i said there old and i gota get them outa muh car if they even let me holla back lindsey
