Hey guys, I've done a bit of searching but I haven't found an answer that fully satisfies my question. Here's my situation.
I've got a vacation to London next Friday, for three weeks. I was hoping to bring about 20x 10mg Vicodin. I know that you need to keep prescription medication in its original bottle with a label and such. I had a tooth extraction two years ago, and they prescribed 20x 7.5mg of Vicodin. I was wondering if I could re-use my old Vicodin prescription bottle to take my Vicodin with me to the UK? It's all in my name and such, the bottle just has a different mg (I'm bringing 10mg pills, I was prescribed 7.5mg pills) and a 2010 expiration date. Has anyone done anything like this?
I don't THINK I'll have any trouble just putting it in my toiletries bag with my carry on bag. I don't think it is a huge deal, but it IS an international flight. They ARE still Vicodin, and I am thinking I'll get by without a secind thought, but I have never done anything like this before.
I'd appreciate all thoughts, stories and opinions on this!
