Hey guys, I've done a bit of searching but I haven't found an answer that fully satisfies my question. Here's my situation.

I've got a vacation to London next Friday, for three weeks. I was hoping to bring about 20x 10mg Vicodin. I know that you need to keep prescription medication in its original bottle with a label and such. I had a tooth extraction two years ago, and they prescribed 20x 7.5mg of Vicodin. I was wondering if I could re-use my old Vicodin prescription bottle to take my Vicodin with me to the UK? It's all in my name and such, the bottle just has a different mg (I'm bringing 10mg pills, I was prescribed 7.5mg pills) and a 2010 expiration date. Has anyone done anything like this?

I don't THINK I'll have any trouble just putting it in my toiletries bag with my carry on bag. I don't think it is a huge deal, but it IS an international flight. They ARE still Vicodin, and I am thinking I'll get by without a secind thought, but I have never done anything like this before.

I'd appreciate all thoughts, stories and opinions on this! :)

I don't even think they'll notice the difference haha

IMO, you should be fine but their should be someone in here soon that knows more or has more experience with it.

It is illegal.

Also legal issues aren't allowed on BL.

Furthermore as per the BLUA:

use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation: attempting to solicit or obtain contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status; or information on how to do so; posting or exchanging any information on ongoing or future criminal activity, or any information which can be construed as discussing such activity; actively encouraging others to engage in criminal activities;

You are posting about criminal activity technically as you want to use an expired prescription for a different medication to help you take a controlled substance overseas.

Closed for the above reasons.
