i have a tendency to stray

i state, i hope you're never in my position.

to my friends, to the ones that count
i love you, i appreciate you, you are all beautiful people.

i wish to thank you for being there for me, for giving me space.

i got lost, and for a while i didn't know it.
but when i started to miss me, i went looking
again.
and there i was, a bit sadder, a bit wiser, a bit worse for wear.

and all i could ask myself was,
where the fuck have you been?
and what have you been up to?
let me fill you in on what you've missed while you've been gone.
