Resuming Opiates After Bupe

Hi everyone. New here. I was recently in the emergency room for opiate withdrawl. I have been a chronic user for 15 years due to a chronic pain condition. At the emergency room they put me on buprenorphine 8 mg two times daily. How Long do I have to be off this before I can go back to opiods? DO NOT LIKE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE BUPRENORPHINE. Thank you for all you do.

It is going to vary heavily from person to person. How long have you been taking the Buprenorphine and at what frequency?
 
I have been taking 2 1/2 to 3 for 3 days. Still having chills and muscle spasms so doc increased to 3.
