Benzos Restoril (temazepam) opinions?

They also come in 22.5mg capsules. They have been hit or miss for me when I have taken them, but I agree that they are the best benzo out there for insomnia.
 
Woh... I took 20mg about an hour ago with the H that I've smoked n snorted and it's knocked me out bigtime! 8o
Nice mixture but I keep forgetting how strong a hypnotic it is. This is after I've been using Diazepam for 4 days or so too in doses around 30mg...

They make 7.5mg doses. It's pretty rare to find them in a pharmacy, I had to take my prescription to two different pharmacies - most only carry the 15mg and 30mg strengths that you listed.

Albeit, for people like me, 15mg of flurazepam OR temazepam IS too much (unless I'm trying to render myself passed-out 100% no consciousness), so I'm glad they at least make the 7.5mg strengths.

They also make a 10mg temazepam capsule, I have seen it online AFAIK. A 10mg minimum dosage would make more sense to me than a 7.5mg one, but what do you know.

If you take benzos frequently enough you might just get lazy.

However temazepam makes for some awesome sex for sure. You may not even remember having sex when you wake up! 8o%)

These were the brand name if it makes a diff and was about 1 year and 1/2 ago. There is def euphoria when it comes to these babies, with the right dosage;) Some people I find have to take insanely ungodly amounts while others, myself only need 15mg. lovely stuff!

Yeah, comparing temazepam to diazepam, MG per MG, I take the same amount, and I prefer temazepam. Diazepam lasts longer but I like the effects of temazepam way more.

Diazepam is great for a day of high Anxiety or if yer wanting to chill out and stay awake.
Temazepam is great for knocking you into next week's laa-laa-land =D

I just got scripted 30x 30mg capsules....I've never tried Temaz, but have a lot of experience in the past with the basic 4- loraz, diaz, alpraz, and clonaz.

I'm wondering what people's preferred ROA for Temaz is...I've done some reading and it seems like there is a big difference between oral/nasal/IV. Any comments or experience would be greatly appreciated!
 
ok thanks....I've heard of people IVing it a lot in europe, would this be better or is oral king like most other benzos?
 
I have never used temazepam intravenously because of reading of so many people loosing limbs from injecting temazepam. The risks are not worth the benefit and I think most people agree. Stick to oral for just about every benzo.

Actually, oral BA of temazepam is near 100%. I would stick to oral dosing.

That's because it was already suspended in an aqueous solution with other solvents in it to make it possible to IV it.

Temazepam, by itself, has poor water solubility.

The *only* benzo I have tried worth shooting is midazolam. Flurazepam also can be IV'd, but I know for a fact none of you all would like to do that.

Loprazolam (also in the same class as midazolam) is also water soluble, but it's something I doubt I'll ever try unless I will one day get to flee to Europe.

Plus, I'll put it like this. Orally dosing temazepam is better to me than IVing midazolam, mostly because it lasts longer, and because it's just as enjoyable. Except, with temazepam, the euphoric effects don't wane as quickly compared to the total duration of the effects. Plus I have found temazepam builds up tolerance slower than midazolam.

Unless you're willing to get... polyethylene glycol (PEG) 6000, and find out how much you'll need to dilute it, and then micron filter the solution before injection... *which is TOO much work, even for an IV trigger happy person like myself, especially for a drug which orally the BA is close to 100%* then just take it orally. Really. If you can't feel temazepam orally, it's not going to do anything extra to IV it, except it'll hit you all at once and fade off quicker (the beauty behind temazepam is the long high and how much of a rush it delivers with a low benzo tolerance) I am assuming, I have never tried this.

what i have noticed from ppls posts and my own experience is at very high doses of Temazepam is the effects are much less, at a mediate/moderate recreational dose should hit ya good,
 
well, i used to do 90mg each time id do temaze (no tolerance either..) then the last time i really recreationally used it, i blacked out, and went to the hospital when discovered fucked up. Its real temperamental, id take 30-90 then lock the damn things up. I can remember before blacking out, after taking 90mg, about a half hour later saying "I am completely fine, lets do more". Then i cant remember anymore, or the day after, or really the day after that. 30mg chills me out real nice, mixes great with a decent dose of speed.

temazepam is best taken in moderation. I seem to feel 30 mg without any problems at all...a very nice relaxed and anxiety-free state. At 90 mg i tend to start blacking out.

diazepam is similar in terms of the moderation thing...i can feel 20 mg of diazepam (again, a nice relaxed state).

alprazolam and clonazepam...not so much. 1.5-2 mgs and i usually still cant feel shit!
 
temazepam is real fun, at first. I used to do 90mgs and go outside and stumble around smoking cigs just making an ass of myself. I am on 30mg now, i am feeling nice..
 
There's always a "stigma", for want of a better word, of using Stimulants and Depressants at the same time which I think is mostly due to speed-balls.
But I used Diazepam, Booze, Dope and Mephedrone (plus a few tokes of weed) together the other weekend and they (mainly the Diazepam, Dope n Meph) worked really well together.
It was my first time using Meph but I thought that the downers that I consumed took the edge off Meph's negative, stimulant side-effects.
I'd love to try a larger dose of Meph alone with some Dope and Diazepam. Stupid, stupid combo - I know - but I can imagine it being extremely lush :)

Yer totally right man. Driving on Benzos can be a very dangerous practice, though I have once done it...
I was driving to York (my first semi-long drive on Motorways n such) with my friends to do a music workshop course, and the stress and Anxiety of trying to find where the hell we were supposed to be going was fuckin killing me.
So we stopped at a petrol station for some juice n munch and I took 10mg of Temazepam as that's all that I had that would help. It was just low enough a dose to be able to function clearly and take away the majority of the anxiety.

Still, was fucking stupid of me though 8)
 
I'm not sure it would help with the "Speed confusion" I (and everyone else I've seen on it) get though =D
