Missing man found dead
MELBOURNE, March 22 AAP|Published: Friday March 22, 3:04 PM
The body of a Melbourne man, missing since Sunday, was found today near a campsite in the state's east.
About 60 people joined the search today for the 33-year-old man, whose friends reported him missing yesterday when he failed to return to Melbourne.
Police said the man had been at a music festival in the Lock Valley area, about 100km east of Melbourne.
He had not been seen since dusk on Sunday, when he left a campsite at Noojee to visit another 50 metres away.
Police said the man's body was found a short distance from the campsite.
The death was not being treated as suspicious, a police spokesman said.

RIP Bill
Your a champion, legend, fun guy and super friendly dude - the world is in desperate need of more loving people such as yourself!
Q and all.

No words can express my feelings at this point.
my condolences to his family friends and anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Bill.
all i can say is that no party will ever be the same without his presence and his infectious smile!!!! :)
Bill you will be greatly missed, and i want to thank you for making a mark in my life. you won't be forgotten!
RIP.

Um, I haven't posted on this site in a long long time, and I hate to have to do it on such a tragic occassion.
I didn't get alot of chances to hang out with Bill, but on the few I did, I must say that, without a doubt, Bill was one of the kindest, nicest, craziest, and most intelligent guys I've ever come across.
All my thoughts and condolences go to his family and close friends, especially Mort and Ange who have already been through so much since their return from overseas. It's tragic that these kinds of things have to happen to the best of people.
Bill - wherever you may be - you will always remain at the heart and soul of what life is all about.
RIP
Van Diemen

Respect....I have never met a nicer guy.
Condolences to his family and friends.
You will never be forgotten and the void you leave can never be filled.
I'll miss your smiles and hugs.

This is tragic. I have been checking this thread every few hours today and to be honest I thought he would be found alive and well.
I never knew Bill but from the responses here and elsewhere it seems he was well loved and an inspiration to many.
My condolences to those left behind and also to those who found him...............
