I realize this is a stupid question. I understand full well the damage done by smoking meth. But are there any actions that can be taken to lessen the damage done to the respiratory system while smoking?

Exercise, especially cardio is great for your lungs. You could also chemicaly extract the meth to get rid of whatever was used to cut it.

Though the vapor can be a tad caustic due to the pH of the compound, if you are using proper vaporization technique and pure wares, the impact should be less than with inhaling a bunch of burnt plants. But really, if you're smoking so much meth that you're worried about respiratory health, it will be wreaking far greater physical and mental havoc in other ways.
