Hi all
I'm kind of scared and need advice. I take 200 mg methadone daily for maintenance. I am also prescribed Zopiclone for sleep (one daily) which if taken in excess can be dangerous as it compunds that depression.
The thing is, this evening I took a 2 mg Klonopin (strong benzo) and was also stupid enough to take my nightly dose of diphenhydramine which I've taken for years to help me sleep. All that mixed together however and I'm starting to notice significant respiratory depression and shallow breathing. I take Zops nightly so I figured I must have enough tolerance to benzo like drugs to not have a problem taking the K-pin. Now my pupils are as small as I have ever seen them, even in very dim light.
I don't want to die, but I also don't want to spend the night in the ER. I have some crack and have been doing regular hits of that since people have told me a quick acting stim is the best safety measure for overdosing on opiates until medical attention arrives. I feel very high now from the methadone due to the diph and K-pin. The Diph dose was very high since I've taken it nightly for years - 225 mg along with the 2 mg Klonopin. I've never felt this sedated/high from methadone before, and am worried that if I give in to sleep like I desperately want to, I won't wake up. Is this enough drug to cause this, or would I have known by now if anything severe were to happen? I've felt them all kick in for about 45 hours now, and have not passed out or anything.
Advice is needed badly please. I really don't want to go to the ER unless it's an absolute emergency, and I know I'm not being paranoid. Please help, someone!
