Resources In NYC for getting off heroin?

Hi, folks:

I posted a lengthy message about my situation in the "New Member Intros" section yesterday and received no help. (It's called "New addict trying to get clean. Can someone help?") It apparently wasn't a good place to ask.

in a nutshell: I'm in NYC and need to get into Suboxone NOW before it's too late. I don't know how to go about finding someone to prescribe it. I'm on Medicaid.

I'd be so, so grateful for any help before I fall further down the rabbit hole.

I'm not from NYC but I know there are many NA and AA meetings held there.

Also there should be available suboxone doctors all over the city too.
It's a bit expensive without insurance, but it's worth it.
