Resetting vyvanse tolerance

It doesn't matter how long of a break I take, or if I add dxm and whatnot, tolerance always feels inevitable. I cannot escape it. I was using 80mg of vyvanse over the course of 12 hours in 2022 and no matter what I do I can't seem to respond to stimulants well anymore beyond the first couple days. It mostly just feels like cool lucid focus for a couple hours and then pure anxiety for the test. I'm afraid I've sabotaged myself with how I was using. Typically on a given day I took 40mg in the morning followed by 2mg doses sprinkled throughout the day along with one 20mg dose. Has anyone returned to thereaupeautic use of stimulants successfully?

I take 50 mg Vyvanse AM and 20 mg Dexy around 1 or 2 pm. if I'm drinking coffee or espresso before my afternoon dose of dextroamphetamine I forget to take it until 4 pm when the caffeine wears off and I'm drowsy as hell. By then it's too late to take afternoon dose., so I go to bed early.
