pretty hard to
miss with those wings
white
simple
and real
strange to think
you actually put effort
into not noticing me
and i actually
put effort into
not noticing you
not noticing me...
seems rather ludicrous
and a waste of energy
and yet here i am
playing your games
always trying to keep a step ahead
anticipating your next move
yet falling gracefully
into one of your traps
every now and then...
once again
left baffled
and slightly irritated
at myself
for still letting
this rerun get to me...
the story never changes...
just the soundtrack
the actors
and my funky outfits....
